Hey there! I’m Alex, a photographer & filmmaker based out of the beautiful Midwest.
For a super quick background. The year is 2016 - I had just graduated college, I was obsessed with going to concerts, watching movies with my friends, and was set on working my way up the corporate ladder. And if you would have told me in that moment, that I’d find this passion for making photos, quite frankly I would have laughed and called you crazy. But, I would seen get connected with a local music group who needed someone to run their social media which meant creating and capturing content. So I went on Craigslist and scrounged up $350 to buy my first camera. The rest is history.
When I’m not making photos, you can find me hanging out with our puppies, re-watching The Office for the hundredth time, telling an eye-rolling dad joke, or possibly singing along to my favorite Chelsea Cutler or Hozier songs. I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin but my heart will forever live in Los Angeles (or so I like to tell myself).
My Philosophy
My priority as a photographer and filmmakers is to capture moments, big and small, that truly matter. It’s about more than just making beautiful photos, it’s about the feeling that they deliver.
If you’re just looking for a guy with a fancy camera, you’ve come to the wrong place. I want to capture all of the authentic moments; not just how you think you should smile in front of a camera, but how you glow when you’re around your best friends. I am not the right photographer for everyone and that is 100% ok! My type of couples/seniors/families? The adventurers. The laid back, live in the moment type.
